Distance learning is a better option for working professionals or students who are not able to get regular education due to any reason. In this direction, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers UG, PG, and Certificate courses to the students every year in the open, distance, and online mode. For the academic session 2021-22 also, IGNOU has added some new courses for UG, PG, and Certificate programs. Diploma in Value Education (DPVE)

This course is offered to the students who are studying in class XII or have passed it. Its main objective is to make students aware of positive values. The course fee is Rs 4,000. You can complete this course in a maximum of three years. There is no minimum and maximum age limit for admission.

MA Drawing and Painting (MADP)

IGNOU’s School of Performing and Visual Arts (SOPVA) is starting a two-year Master of Arts (Drawing and Painting) program from this year. The maximum duration of the course is 4 years. Admission to this course will be available only in the July session. The fee for this course is Rs 16,500.

MA Urdu (MUD)

The maximum duration of this course is four years. Graduate students from any recognized university can apply for this course. Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the students to know how to read and write Urdu. For this course, students will have to pay Rs 6,300 every year. The total fee for the course is Rs 12,600.

MA-Astrology (MAJY)

IGNOU has started a two-year Master of Arts program in Astrology from this year. Graduates can apply for this. The full course fee is Rs 12,600. The course material will be in both Hindi and Sanskrit. After getting 40 credits in this course, students will also get the option to exit. In this case, they will be awarded a diploma.
