Online QUIZ on “India@75” by Ministry of Defence through Gallantry Awards Portal
As a part of Independence Day Celebrations – 2021, an online quiz competition on “India@75” is being organized by Ministry of Defence through Gallantry Awards Portal during 26th July, 2021 – 04th August, 2021 in order to create patriotic feeling among youth and masses.
Gallantry Awards Portal (www.gallantryawards.gov.in) serves as the foremost online platform in India that honours the dedication, determination and indomitable spirit of our Bravehearts. The courage, character, and commitment of our martyrs, war heroes and their families deserve the most distinguished position in the national remembrance.

Process
(i) The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. Hindi and English.
(ii) Duration of the quiz will be 2 minutes (120 seconds), during which the participants are required to submit maximum number of correct answers.
(iii) There will be no negative marking.
(iv) The questions will be randomly picked from the Question Bank.
(v) You can skip tough question and come back to it later.
(vi) The Quiz will start as soon as you click the “Start Quiz” button.

Terms & Conditions
(a) Only Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above can participate in the quiz.
(b) Access to the quiz will only be through the platform of Gallantry Awards Portal of MoD and no other channel.
(c) Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
(d) The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”, subject to the stipulation the total number of correct responses in 2 min time.
(e) In case of multiple participant having given same no. of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the Quiz will be adjudged the winner.
(f) An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.
(g) Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered.
(h) Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/ her name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.
(i) Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the quiz. Non-furnishing of the above information / documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.
(j) The same mobile number and same email ID cannot be used more that once for participation in the quiz.
(k) Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.
(l) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
(m) Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable.
(n) The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
(o) By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
(p) Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organising the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.

RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION
(i) There will be ten prizes i.e. First, Second, Third and Seven consolation Prizes as under:-
(a)1st Prize Rs. 25,000/-
(b)2nd Prize Rs. 15,000/-
(c)3rd Prize Rs. 10,000/-
(d)Consolation Prizes (Seven)Rs. 5,000/- each
(ii) Top hundred participants will be issued an online generated certificate by IT Division of MoD.
