The Global Teachers Academy for Digital Technologies’ is an initiative by CBSE in collaboration with IBM to evangelize digital technologies among teachers of CBSE affiliated schools.
This initiative envisions to be recognized as a globally acknowledged academy, creating Technology Mentors on 21st Century Digital Technologies at K-12 school level beginning with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
After training 200 Computer Science/ AI/ IT teachers from across CBSE schools as ‘AI Teacher Educators’, the programme is now being extended to 10,000 teachers from CBSE affiliated schools who shall be trained as ‘AI Teacher Mentors’ to guide students to build AI-based projects.
Teachers of all subjects are invited to participate in the training to understand how AI can be used in different scenarios. No coding or programming knowledge is required for this programme.
As part of the training programme, participating teachers will have access to the following benefits:
➡ 3-hour instructor-led training on AI ideas and project mentoring using IBM Project Guide.
➡ Online certification courses on AI Foundations for Teachers from ISTE& IBM through the IBM SkillsBuild platform.
➡ Top teachers will be considered for digital assignments like online mentoring, online training, lesson plan creation, reviewing innovation, online assessments etc to build the AI student community. An honorarium may be considered for the assignments.
➡ Certificate on successful completion of the programme.

1. There is no fee for attending this programme.
2. The timings and link for attending the above training shall be informed to the registered teachers
on the email provided by them in the Registration Form.
