NCERT Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling 2024
The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) has rolled out its “NCERT Diploma” course, a year-long program focusing on guidance and counselling for 2024. By embracing both distance learning and face-to-face teaching methodologies, this diploma aims to enhance the skills of educational professionals.
NCERT emphasizes that the core objective of this “NCERT Diploma” course is to elevate the capabilities of teachers and educators. The expected outcome is to facilitate the comprehensive growth of students, enabling educators to adeptly address students’ academic, socio-emotional, and ethical challenges.
Course Structure and Eligibility
Open to a diverse group, including teachers, teacher educators, school administrators, and even those currently untrained in guidance, this “NCERT Diploma” course promises a thorough educational experience. The course is segmented into three distinct phases:
Distance Learning: Spanning from January to June 2024.
Face-to-Face Sessions: Conducted at designated study centers from July to September 2024.
Internship: Carried out in the participant’s hometown, scheduled from October to December 2024.
