The board has taken the decision to extend the time limit in view of the stress of the teachers. The board observed that the schools were not able to prepare the results within the prescribed deadline and besides that, the teachers were facing a lot of difficulties. In such a situation, CBSE has decided to give the necessary time to the schools. Let us inform you that CBSE officials are also working on the festival of Eid today i.e. July 21, which is also a gazetted holiday, so that the board can declare the results on time. At the same time, to assist the schools in finalizing the result, the regional offices and examination departments of the headquarters will function from 10 am to 5 pm. CBSE had given these instructions in a statement some time back. Apart from this, the board has also announced that the exam for private candidates will be conducted from August 16, 2021, to September 15, 2021.
Further, the board says that for private students, since there is no record of evaluation of marks, the board will have to conduct examinations for them. The board says that for regular students, whose results can be evaluated on the basis of internal assessment, this is not possible for private students of CBSE. So the exam has to be conducted for them.
