This is in continuation with CBSE Circular no. 33/2021 and Notification no. 51/2021regarding the Young Warrior Movement, which has been running successfully in collaboration with UNICEF and YuWaah.
To engage students more meaningfully, CBSE is inviting teachers to co-facilitate 5 engaging and informative art-based sessions for their students.
These sessions are expected to make students aware of right protocols, information to ensure Covid Appropriate Behaviours, dispel vaccine hesitancy, mental health, among others. Through expressive activities of poetry, theatre, and other art forms, students will inspire positive change and action in their communities.
These will be in line with the 5 virtual tasks1 around COVID-19 that students have been engaging in and earning certificates issued jointly by CBSE, UNICEF & YuWaah. The sessions will be supported by UNICEF through a teacher training workshop and co-facilitating support for student sessions. To this end, CBSE & UNICEF are organizing a teacher training workshop on 14.07.2021 which can be accessed by teachers of CBSE affiliated schools as per the following details:
Workshop for teachers of CBSE affiliated schools on Classroom Engagement for Young Warrior Movement
This workshop is open to all teachers of CBSE-affiliated schools. Schools should nominate at least 2 teachers as nodal points of contact who can register at https://forms.gle/LFim3o6kqrYvvGNA7
